1. Who provides the services
The services are provided by SkilledDragon, LLC ("we", "us", "the provider"). Sessions are delivered personally by David Discua. When these terms refer to "you" or "the client", they mean the person who books a session and, where that person books on behalf of a company, that company as well.
These terms, together with the Cancellation & Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy published on this site, form the whole agreement for a session. If you need different terms, contact us before booking; a separately signed agreement replaces these terms only where it says so.
2. The services
Each paid service is a complete, fixed-scope package made up of four parts: preparation by the provider from the materials you send, one live main session delivered remotely over video in English or Spanish, one written deliverable sent after the session, and follow-up after you have received the deliverable. Follow-up always includes one follow-up call; for the Architecture & Scale Review and AI & MVP Strategy packages it also includes a fixed email follow-up window. The package price covers all four parts; nothing in the package is charged separately.
Main sessions are offered on Fridays; the availability shown on the booking page is the only availability. The main-session length, the follow-up call length, and the email window length are different, are listed separately below, and are not added together or exchanged for one another.
The packages are:
- Technical Advisory (USD 250; main session 30 min). Includes: Preparation: your intake answers reviewed before the session; 30-minute working session on one decision or problem; Actionable written recommendations after the session; One 15-minute follow-up call, included in the price. Written deliverable: actionable written recommendations. Follow-up call: one 15 min follow-up call, separate from the main session and governed by section 8. Scope: One decision or problem per package; No preparation required from you beyond the intake questions.
- Architecture & Scale Review (USD 650; main session 60 min). Includes: Preparation: scoped review of your diagram, system description, and questions; 60-minute working session; Prioritized findings document after the session; Two weeks of email follow-up on the document, included in the price; One 20-minute document walkthrough and follow-up call, included in the price. Written deliverable: prioritized findings document. Email follow-up: 2 weeks after the written deliverable is sent, governed by section 8. Follow-up call: one 20 min document walkthrough and follow-up call, separate from the main session and governed by section 8. Scope: Preparation covers one architecture diagram, a short system description, and up to three questions; A full repository audit or implementation is a separate engagement.
- AI & MVP Strategy (USD 850; main session 90 min). Includes: Preparation: scoped review of your product brief and questions; 90-minute working session; Implementation roadmap after the session; Three weeks of email follow-up on the roadmap, included in the price; One 30-minute roadmap walkthrough and follow-up call, included in the price. Written deliverable: implementation roadmap. Email follow-up: 3 weeks after the written deliverable is sent, governed by section 8. Follow-up call: one 30 min roadmap walkthrough and follow-up call, separate from the main session and governed by section 8. Scope: Preparation covers a short product brief and up to three questions; Implementation and ongoing support are separate engagements.
- Fit call (5 min, free). Five minutes to assess fit and recommend the right package. No advice is given on the call itself. Fit assessment only. No written deliverable and no follow-up call.
3. Booking, prices, and payment
Packages are booked through Calendly by booking the main session. Paid packages are paid in full at the time of booking through Stripe, using Calendly's payment step. That single payment covers the whole package, including the written deliverable, the follow-up call, and any email follow-up window; none of them is booked or paid for separately. We never see or store your card details; Stripe processes the payment on its own systems and issues its own receipt.
Prices are shown in USD on the booking page and on this site. The price displayed at the time you book is the price you pay for that package. Prices may change for future bookings; a change never affects a package already booked.
Taxes: no sales tax or VAT is added at checkout. If a tax must be charged or reported for your booking, we will tell you before the session and no additional amount will be collected without your agreement.
A booking is confirmed only when Calendly confirms it and, for paid sessions, Stripe has processed the payment. A confirmation email from us describes the booking; it is not a tax invoice. Your payment receipt comes separately from Stripe.
4. Your responsibilities and the materials you share
You are responsible for describing your situation accurately in the intake questions and, for the 60- and 90-minute sessions, for sending the preparation materials described in the scope (one architecture diagram, a short system description, or a short product brief, plus up to three questions) at least two business days before the session. Without them, the preparation part of the session is limited to what can be done during the call.
By sharing code, diagrams, documents, credentials, or other materials, you confirm that you have the right to share them for the purpose of the session and that doing so does not breach an obligation you owe to someone else. Do not share production secrets, personal data about your own customers, or anything you are not authorized to disclose. We do not need access to your systems to run a session.
You are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on the advice you receive, and for testing and validating any change before it reaches production.
5. Scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation, and refunds
Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. If you join late, the session still ends at the originally scheduled time. Rescheduling and cancellation are handled through the links in your Calendly confirmation and are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which requires at least 48 hours' notice for a full refund or a free rescheduling.
Refunds are issued manually from the SkilledDragon, LLC Stripe account to the original payment method. Canceling or rescheduling in Calendly does not trigger a refund by itself; the refund is reviewed and issued by the provider.
Where the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights take precedence over this policy.
6. Confidentiality
We treat everything you share for a session, and everything discussed in it, as confidential. We use it only to prepare for and deliver the session, the written deliverable, and the follow-up call, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named in the Privacy Policy who host our systems and email.
We do not record sessions, and we do not upload your materials to AI services, unless you ask for it in writing for a specific session and we agree. Where we take our own notes to produce the written deliverable, they are kept private.
Confidentiality does not cover information that is already public, that you tell us is not confidential, or that we must disclose by law. Nothing here prevents us from using the general knowledge and experience gained from working with clients, as long as your confidential information is not disclosed.
7. Written deliverables: ownership and permitted use
Once the package is paid for, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the written deliverable (the written recommendations, findings document, or implementation roadmap, depending on the package) for your own business and to share it within your organization and with your advisors and contractors working on your product. You may not resell it or publish it as a standalone work.
You keep all rights in the materials you share with us. We keep the rights in our general methods, templates, and know-how, and in any content we already had before the session.
The written deliverable is sent after the main session. The follow-up window in section 8 starts when it is sent.
8. Follow-up after the deliverable: the call and the email window
Each paid package includes one follow-up call after the written deliverable has been sent. Its length depends on the package (Technical Advisory: 15 min; Architecture & Scale Review: 20 min; AI & MVP Strategy: 30 min) and is separate from the main session. Included in the package price. Nothing further is charged for it.
Scheduled by mutual agreement after the written deliverable has been sent, subject to availability. One call per package. We propose times once the deliverable is sent, or you ask for one; the call takes place within 30 days after the deliverable is sent. There is no self-service booking link for the follow-up call; it is arranged directly between us and tied to your paid booking.
The follow-up call covers the original engagement only: walking through the written deliverable, clarifying the recommendations in it, discussing your initial progress on them.
It does not include new project scope or new questions outside the original engagement, implementation work, ongoing or on-demand support. Work of that kind is a separate engagement under section 9.
A follow-up call that has not taken place within the window, for reasons on the client's side, lapses. It has no separate price and is not refunded separately. If we cancel or miss the call, it is offered again at no cost and the window is extended. The Cancellation & Refund Policy sets out the details.
Email follow-up window. The packages listed here also include a fixed period of email follow-up (Architecture & Scale Review: 2 weeks; AI & MVP Strategy: 3 weeks). The window opens when the written deliverable is sent and runs for the number of weeks stated for the package. Included in the package price. Nothing further is charged for it. During the window you may send questions about the written deliverable by email to the contact address on the Contact page, and we reply substantively within 2 business days.
The email window covers questions about the written deliverable, clarifying a recommendation or how to apply it, short questions about your initial progress on the recommendations. It does not include new project scope or questions outside the original engagement, reviewing new material, code, or documents, implementation work, ongoing or on-demand support after the window closes; it is not a retainer or on-call arrangement, and the follow-up call is not shortened or replaced by it. Questions sent after the window closes are outside the package. The window has no separate price and is not refunded separately; unused time is not carried over or exchanged. If our reply is late against the commitment above, the window is extended by the delay.
9. Advisory, not implementation
A package is advice: preparation, a working session, a written deliverable, and follow-up about that deliverable (a call and, where included, an email window). It is not a full repository audit, a penetration test, a formal security or compliance assessment, an implementation, ongoing support, or an on-call arrangement. The follow-up call and the email window are limited to the original engagement as described in section 8; neither is a second advisory session or a retainer.
Implementation, audits, and ongoing engagements are available only under a separate written agreement with its own scope, schedule, and price. Nothing said in a session or a follow-up call commits either of us to such an engagement.
10. No guarantees of results
Advice is based on the information you provide and on our professional judgment at the time of the session. We do not guarantee any business outcome, funding, revenue, cost saving, performance figure, security posture, or level of scalability, and we cannot foresee every constraint in a system we see only in part. You remain responsible for the decisions you take and for the systems you operate.
11. Liability
We are responsible for delivering the package described in section 2 (main session, written deliverable, follow-up call, and any email follow-up window) with reasonable care and skill. If we fail to do so, your remedies are the ones in the Cancellation & Refund Policy (restoring lost time, rescheduling, or refunding), and, where the law provides them, the remedies the law gives you.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses that arise from how you implement or fail to implement the advice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.
12. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, contact us first using the details on the Contact page; most issues are resolved by rescheduling, restoring time, or refunding under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
No arbitration requirement or class-action waiver applies.
13. Your rights that cannot be excluded
If you are a consumer, the law of the country where you live may give you rights (for example a right to withdraw from a distance contract within a set period, or remedies for services not performed with reasonable care) that these terms cannot take away. Where these terms conflict with such a right, the right applies.
14. Changes to these terms
Each version of these terms carries a version identifier and an effective date. The version you accept when you book is the version that applies to that booking; later changes apply only to bookings made after their effective date. We keep an archived copy of every version.
15. Contact and effective date
Questions about these terms go to SkilledDragon, LLC using the contact details on the Contact page of this site.
