Technical Advisory

Decisions you can defend, on a Friday.

Fixed-scope advisory packages for founders, technical leaders, and small engineering teams who need a clear technical call rather than another opinion. Each package is one engagement in four parts: preparation, a live working session, a written deliverable, and follow-up once you have read it: a call for every package, plus a two- or three-week email window for the larger two.

How a package works

  1. 01Preparation

Booking asks three questions: what you are building, what problem you are facing, and what decision you want help with. For the 60- and 90-minute packages, send the diagram, description, or product brief described in the scope; that is what gets reviewed before the session.

  2. 02Main session

A working conversation on video, not a slide deck. We go through the system as it is, the constraints that actually matter, and the options on the table. Expect direct answers. The session runs for its booked length: 30, 60, or 90 minutes.

  3. 03Written deliverable

Every paid package ends in a document: actionable recommendations for Technical Advisory, a prioritized findings document for the Architecture & Scale Review, an implementation roadmap for AI & MVP Strategy. Yours to forward to the team.

  4. 04Follow-up

Once the document is with you, one follow-up call is included: 15, 20, or 30 minutes depending on the package. We schedule it by agreement within 30 days of the document being sent, and use it to walk through the deliverable, clarify recommendations, and discuss your initial progress. The Architecture & Scale Review and AI & MVP Strategy packages also include an email follow-up window, two and three weeks respectively, for questions about the document as your team works through it.

What a review is measured against

These are the reference architectures I hold a system up to during an Architecture & Scale Review. Not templates to copy; the questions they answer are the ones I will ask about yours.

See all six

  1. 01 / AI platformsMulti-agent platform with an eval loopMany agents, one turn engine, every model and vendor behind a port. Traces feed an eval runner whose verdict gates the release, so a prompt change is treated like a schema change.
  2. 02 / HealthcareClinical document intelligence, inside the PHI boundaryFax, HL7 v2, FHIR, and portal uploads land in one encrypted store; Temporal drives OCR, LLM extraction, validation, and human review before anything becomes a record; analytics only ever sees de-identified data.
  3. 03 / SaaS · CRMEvent-driven CRM for many tenantsWeb, mobile, mail add-ins, and a public API meet one GraphQL edge; domain services own their schemas; state leaves only through the outbox into Kafka, where search, webhooks, integrations, and the warehouse are rebuilt as projections.
  4. 04 / Cloud migrationAzure CSP landing zone and multi-cloud migrationAWS, GCP, and on-prem estates move into an Azure CSP tenant in waves: landing zone first, then identity, servers, containers, databases, and storage through a migration factory, with both sides live until a weighted Front Door cutover.
  5. 05 / Blockchain infrastructureMulti-chain node fleet with an indexing and RPC layerValidators, relays, and RPC nodes for Polkadot, Cardano, Avalanche, and Midnight, built from Packer images and Terraform, fronted by a rate-limited RPC gateway, watched by block-height alerts, and never holding a hot key that a person can read.
  6. 06 / Custody · signingPolicy-gated signing service for many chainsOne API for wallets and transactions across curves and chains: a policy engine decides, an HSM signs, chain-specific builders assemble, and an append-only ledger remembers every decision.

The fine print, kept short

Fridays only
Main sessions run on Fridays, hosted from America/Tegucigalpa (UTC−6). The booking page shows open times in your own timezone and needs at least 48 hours of notice. Follow-up calls are scheduled separately, by agreement.
English or Spanish
Sessions and follow-up calls are available in English and Spanish.
The follow-up call
One per package, included in the price: 15 min for Technical Advisory, 20 min for Architecture & Scale Review, 30 min for AI & MVP Strategy. It is separate from the main session and is arranged with you directly, by agreement and subject to availability, within 30 days of the written deliverable being sent. It covers walking through the written deliverable, clarifying the recommendations in it, discussing your initial progress on them. It does not include new project scope or new questions outside the original engagement, implementation work, ongoing or on-demand support. There is no public booking link for it and nothing to pay.
The email follow-up window
Included with the larger two packages: 2 weeks for Architecture & Scale Review, 3 weeks for AI & MVP Strategy, counted from the day the written deliverable is sent. Questions about the document get a substantive reply within 2 business days. It covers questions about the written deliverable, clarifying a recommendation or how to apply it, short questions about your initial progress on the recommendations; it does not include new project scope or questions outside the original engagement, reviewing new material, code, or documents, implementation work, ongoing or on-demand support after the window closes. It runs alongside the follow-up call, not instead of it, and closes on its own.
Changes and cancellations
With at least 48hours’ notice you choose a full refund or one free rescheduling of the main session; closer to the session, one free rescheduling. Provider-side cancellations or technical failures are always made good. A follow-up call is moved by agreement inside its window and lapses if it is not held in time. The full rules, including no-shows and refunds, are in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
What you agree to
Booking a paid package means accepting the Terms of Service and the Cancellation & Refund Policy; the booking form asks for that explicitly before payment. The Privacy Policy describes what is stored and who processes it.
